Go To: Click to go to the currently selected folder.

Change: Click to select a different folder.

As images are dropped in by the other software, they will be automatically imported. Set the default path in Imaging Module Preferences. If they allow you to designate a folder where they will drop new images, then use the same folder as the default here.

Import Automatically: This could potentially be used by some phosphor plate systems.

When an image is imported, the Item Info window will pop up to enter notes and information. Set a default path to import images from in Imaging Module Preferences. Import: Import an existing file from your computer or network. Note: An active registration key is required to use both Acquire and Video. Images will be placed in the current mount or category.

Camera: Select a camera from the dropdown menu.

Use the live feed to take images and intraoral photos.

Video: Click to open the Video Capture window.

Device: Use the dropdown to select a device.

If no mount is loaded, then images will be placed in the currently selected image category or the top category. When taking an image, load up a Mount from the Toolbar. Will automatically select Photos image category.Īcquire: Click to take an image using imaging device. The pixel windowing settings set in Imaging Setup will be used as the default. Scan Radiograph: Select when you are scanning a radiograph. Multi-page documents are saved as PDF files. Scan Multi-Page Document: Use the automatic document feeder (ADF) of your attached device to scan multiple pages. Scan Document: Use the flatbed scanner of your attached device to Scan a single page document. Sign: Open the Signature window to attach a note to the selected image and electronically sign it. Info: Display image information, such category, name, date, type and description. The image will automatically be sized to fit the printed page. Print: Opens the Select Printer window so you can print the selected image.

You can take your radiographs directly in Open Dental.
